This is my 5th time travel to India, 6 of us were so lucky and surprised to be upgraded to business class on 24th HKG to DEL flight ( It lights up our trip & also a good sign of our trip) . Pleasant landing but the e-visa slow us down (the new method for traveler visiting India).
Second day morning, traditional India breakfast as usual ( Dosa, Poori, ldli, Sambhar, masala tea, etc). We took the domestic flight towards our destination “ Jammu “ (Jammu was changed instead of Srinagar for the security reason, I had been to Srinagar once, it is a beautiful and natural area near the boundary of Pakistan). One hour flying time, we reached Jammu where to hold the 2nd International Yoga Sports Championship of 2016. We had short tour to Baag-e-Bahu , very impressive city overview & Tawi river, then Bahu Fort after walked up the Garden Path.
Next morning we visited the National Championship, watched all ages participates performances & Master received the first award. Joyce, one of our group, stayed with the judge(s), rest of us visited to Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex & Dorga Art Museum, it located in the heart of the old walled city of Jammu and second time to enjoy the high view of Tawi river. The heritage complex is an important historic architectures that having more than 150 years old history. We had a delicious lunch in the hotel & took some Yoga postures photos in the museum, had a lot of fun and a day passed so quick.
The rest of days was International Championship held, Joyce took part & got the bronze medal, Master received the second award which was the recognition for his contribution of Yoga. Frienze & Kiyoko shared & demonstrated their yoga practice experience on the stage; Irene, Frienze & Kiyoko presented the awards to all ages champions. Eventually, we all received the awards for participated the championship-2016, we were so honor.
We took a super quick sightseeing in New Delhi before we return to Hong Kong, We completed the trip with the happy & warm experience . Thanks to all companies , you all made the trip successful.
